Benign Lesion Removals

If you’re interested in a benign lesion removal, many procedures and techniques are available. Moles are most commonly shaved off, or excised and sutured. Tags are frozen, cauterized, or snipped. All these procedures can usually be conveniently performed on an outpatient basis. Healing and recovery times vary for each procedure, but they’re relatively quick. The cost of treatment varies depending on the size and depth of the growth, as well as the number of growths to be removed.

Cosmetic services are provided on a fee-for-service basis. If your provider determines that a surgery is not medically indicated, * the services are not provided or covered by Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Inc., and you are financially responsible to pay for them.
